IAESTE
IAESTE (International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience) is a global non-governmental, non-profit organization with consultative status at the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), affiliation with the UN Department of Public Information (DPI), and consultative status with UNESCO. IAESTE facilitates paid internships abroad, enabling students to gain invaluable professional experience and cross-cultural skills. This initiative also benefits employers and universities by providing access to talented international interns who bring fresh perspectives and innovative ideas to their businesses or research projects.
Primarily focused on STEM fields, IAESTE has partnered with Taibah International School and operates as IAESTE Uganda, TIS. Through this collaboration, IAESTE Uganda, TIS, continues to promote the exchange of knowledge and cultural understanding, fostering global connections while equipping students with essential career and life skills.
