Easter is a very special time for Christians. First, we prepare by fasting during Lent. We give up things we love to think more about God. We pray more and try to do good things.

Then comes Holy Week. It starts with Palm Sunday when Jesus entered Jerusalem. People waved palm branches to welcome Him. On Good Friday, we remember Jesus dying on the cross. It is a sad day, but we also feel grateful. Jesus died to save us from sin.

On Easter Sunday, we celebrate his resurrection. Jesus did not stay dead. He came back to life! This shows us that God’s love is stronger than anything, even death. We celebrate with songs, prayers, and happy gatherings. Easter teaches us about love, sacrifice, hope, and joy. That is why it is such a special and happy time!
