My name is Thiwe Abesigamukama, and I go to Taibah International School-Primary located at Bwebajja, Entebbe Road, and I am in P.5 Cardinal. At Taibah, when you are in P.5 or Yr.5, you get to work at the reception. This year, they started with P.5. When we started, the Deputy Headteacher of Taibah briefed us on the rules of being on duty. He said we have to look formal. When it was my turn to be on duty, I came very early. First, I got to lead a parent and her child to the Middle class. Then, when I came back to my desk, I had to work on the bank slips with my duty partner, Asher Matale. Parents were coming to have receipts signed, and we signed them! Then we went to the staff room for break. When we were done, we went back to work on the bank slips. Then the receptionist, Ms. Joweria, taught us how to answer the telephone. We then went to the dining hall for lunch. After our lunch, we went back to the office. At that time, we received a call from accounts to deliver a message to the Headteacher of Taibah College. We walked to Taibah College because it was near. When we reached the reception of Taibah College, first, we introduced ourselves to the receptionist, then we entered the Headteacher’s office. We delivered the message and went back to school. We took a lot of pictures with Ms. Joweria.
