Friday morning
The sun was bright, the court was set
The S.1 Wolves a pack fierce and proud
Go to the basketball court(not for hoops)
But for justice, laughter and dramatic swoops!
With script in head and courage in heart
We acted our message each playing a part.
The topic? Bullying-mean words, mean stares-
We showed how justice can add to the stares.
From the first line to the final applause,
We had the oohs and aahs mixed up with laughter
Three kids were the bullies (they are nice I swear)
Another cried, “This just isn’t fair!”
There was rhyming, timing and even a chase
And someone got glitter right in the face
The crowd laughed then paused to reflect,
Because deep down the message had an effect
So if you saw us that morning you know what I mean
Drama isn’t just drama, it’s a stage for a dream.
To make school kinder, brighter, fairer
To say you belong and truly care
We showed it’s cool to stand up, not to stand by
To offer a shoulder, a voice, a hand
Our class? A pack- Fierce and proud
S.1 Wolves -strong and loud
