It was the second-to-last day of the school mega bash. This is a time to have fun and celebrate if you performed well in the end of year examinations. The following day, my aunt picked me up and I went with her to her place. I spent my first week there because my mum was up country. It wasn’t so bad until electricity went off for three days and it was so boring. Then when I went home and was so glad.
Unfortunately, I couldn’t go to the village because my mother was supposed to work on Christmas, my sister was out of the country, and my cousin went to his father’s place. The best part of my holiday was a very exciting trip to South Africa. There is a place in Cape Town called the Cape of Good Hope. We learnt about it in SST. There is a mountain called Table Mountain, which is the shortest mountain in the world, yet the closest to the clouds. We went to the mall and bought many things. I ate fast food daily except dinner, where I ate Tanzanian food. I went to a carnival, but it would have been better if I had gone in something more comfortable to play in. Lucky for me, some performances were going on like acrobats, the Ghetto kids, Azawi, DJ Guanz, and Madox. When I came back, I went to the salon to do my hair and prepared for school. ‘
