Last week, Taibah International School held its annual sports day at the school’s sports complex. This event is the climax of several sporting activities, including badminton, swimming, football, netball, cycling, group games, aerobics, and more. The day featured fun-filled games that excited the parents, who attended in large numbers. In the tug of war, the female parents dragged the female teachers in less than ten seconds. On the other hand, the male staff showed power. There was also the ball passing game, where the children had to pass over the ball using trench-like pipes. It required teamwork and concentration until the ball reached the finishing line. After three hours of competition, Moroto Green emerged victorious. One of the parents, Mr. Lwanga Kaddu, said, ‘I love Taibah because of how they involve our children in all the day’s activities. The school’s principal was so happy with all the support provided by the parents. He commended them, saying, ‘In this age of our busy timing, it is only special men and women who find it important in physically present for their children. Taibah recognises such parents. The sports day was surely a blast!
